Today’s guest is Wei-Tai Kwok, a green-tech executive and climate leader that has been honored with the Green Ring Award, the highest honor given by Al Gore himself for the work he has done with The Climate Reality Project. Wei-Tai has entrepreneurial roots, having started and led a successful advertising agency for 20 years. On the show, we learn what made him leave that company so he could start working companies that are combating climate change. Since making this transition over a decade ago, Wei-Tai has held executive-level roles for some of the biggest solar companies on the planet. But it doesn’t stop at work. Wei-Tai has taken action in his personal life as well, making changes to his home and lifestyle to become carbon neutral and spending most of his non-work hours co-leading the 700 person Bay Area chapter of The Climate Reality Project. His unwavering commitment to fight climate change is inspiring and I’m so glad he is able to share his story on Insight Out. This is part 1 of a 2 part interview, where I sat down with him in his home in Northern California. In this episode, he’ll share his insights about the climate crisis and provide ideas and advice for anyone wanting to do more to combat climate change. Whether you’re a business leader, entrepreneur, or work for a company and want to contribute more, this show is sure to provide insights that will help you do more to help this cause.
